Begos Horgan & Brown LLP
Practice Areas
The Employment Group
This practice area involves advising both employers and employees on the issues that arise from the employment relationship.
We offer guidance to both employers and employees on the complex web of laws regulating everything from working conditions, to employees' leave rights, to how and when an employee can be disciplined or fired.
The firm strives to help clients avoid or minimize employment related disputes in contractual and "at-will" employment arrangements. Our attorneys counsel clients on discrimination and harassment claims, the myriad employees' rights laws and regulations, and negotiating employment and severance agreements. Yet, despite all efforts, some lawsuits cannot be avoided. In these cases, we are experienced in representing clients on employment matters before administrative agencies, arbitration panels and in state and federal courts in both Connecticut and New York.
