Begos Horgan & Brown LLP is a debt relief agency. We help people and businesses file for bankruptcy relief under the Bankruptcy Code.
The fallout of the mortgage crisis and the ongoing recession has pushed many debtors and creditors to the point where bankruptcy is an option they may need to consider. Our experience in developing solutions for complicated financial problems suits us well to help clients grapple with the question of whether bankruptcy is appropriate for them and, if so, what type of bankruptcy relief to seek.

Our efforts were noted by such diverse publications as the:
Over the years in counseling debtor and creditor clients, we have generally viewed bankruptcy, or the process by which a business' or individual's debts are discharged or restructured, as a last resort. But in the current economy it may be a solution worth considering. We offer guidance and legal support to both businesses and individuals in debt. We will try to understand your situation and recommend a non-bankruptcy or bankruptcy solution as appropriate.
Attorney Christopher Brown heads the firm's Debtor/Creditor practice group, which includes Bankruptcy practice. His practice concentrates on providing comprehensive legal advice and assistance to debtors and creditors. Chris received the attention of the legal and consumer press for two positive judgments in ground-breaking foreclosure cases, in which he took on and beat the mortgage industry in foreclosure matters. In addition, the firm's work with the financially troubled earned honors from the Connecticut Law Tribune which honored it as one the "Dozen Who Made a Difference". Chris is familiar with the issues debtors go through during these difficult times.
