The Trial and Appellate Group is the largest group in the firm. It engages in sophisticated business, financial and insurance related litigation, including trials and appeals in state and federal, in New York and Connecticut as well as arbitrations before the NYSE, NASD and AAA.

One of the largest areas of concentration for this group is representing ERISA plan administrators and employers in ERISA claim disputes. The firm's lawyers are on the cutting edge of ERISA litigation, and they are often instrumental in persuading the courts to adopt or implement procedures to streamline the ERISA claim litigation process. Debtor/Creditor Group
The Debtor/Creditor Group brings together expertise from all parts of the firm to provide comprehensive legal advice and assistance to debtors and creditors, with a special emphasis on mortgage debt and bankruptcy. This group assists clients in all stages of financial crisis, from planning to avoid a crisis, to engaging in litigation to resolve a crisis.

We have significant experience with "predatory lending" and "lender liability" disputes, which involve holding the lender responsible for losses caused by improper lending decisions or improper collection efforts. We also represent creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. As a debt relief agency, we help people and businesses file for bankruptcy relief under the Bankruptcy Code. The debtor services we provide may involve bankruptcy relief under the Bankruptcy Code.

Employment Group
The Employment Group represents individuals and employers in discrimination and wrongful termination cases, litigation involving covenants not to compete, and unemployment disputes. The Firm's attorneys have successfully negotiated enhanced severance packages on behalf of terminated employees in a wide variety of industries in both New York and Connecticut.

We are prepared to offer guidance to employers on how to minimize employee workplace issues, and how to deal with them when the inevitable problems arise. Estate Planning and Probate Group
The Estate Planning and Probate Group prepares and supervises the execution of will and trusts to preserve and distribute a client's assets during life and after death. It assists clients in using their wills and trusts to express their preferences for guardians of minor children and to provide for those children in the event of a parent's untimely death. After a client's death, this group helps guide the survivors through probate.
