Michael F. Horgan, Jr. is a founding member of the firm, managing partner
of the Bronxville office and head of the transactional and estate planning
and probate practice groups. He brings over fifteen years of corporate and
personal legal background to the firm.
Mike works primarily on cases involving commercial and residential real estate transactions, business formation and transfers; corporate affairs and
governance; and trusts & estates.
His day-to-day practice includes:
Real Estate matters such as:
- Representing major commercial and private lenders in residential and
commercial loan transactions;
- Representing sellers and purchasers of coops, condos, houses and
commercial premises;
- Representing coop and condo boards of directors.
Trusts & Estates matters such as:
- Handling probate and administration of decedent's estates;
- Preparing wills, health care proxies and powers of attorney.
Business matters such as:
- Forming companies including corporations and LLCs.
From 1990-1997, Mike served as In House Counsel of a privately owned
manufacturing corporation.
Mike is a past President of the Eastchester Bar Association and a member
of the Eastchester, Westchester County, New York State and American Bar
Associations. Mike was admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut in
1990.
He received his law degree from St. John's University School of Law (J.D)
and completed his undergraduate work at Georgetown University (B.S.).
